About The Position

Supports the design, development, and implementation of Goodwill Industries annual giving program. Assists in advancing the organization’s fund development strategy by performing the following duties. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES are listed below in order of importance, from most important to least important. Develops and implements annual giving strategies, including direct mail, online giving, and other fundraising campaigns and events. Manages and cultivate relationships with existing donors and prospects, focusing on mid-level donors ($1,000 - $9,999). Identifies, qualifies, cultivates, solicits, and stewards new prospects and donors. Coordinates annual campaign reporting and analysis, as well as database entry of campaign activities and donor communications. Manages monthly giving program and stewardship of subscription donors, including effective donor recognition and benefit fulfillment. Develops and implements donor recognition strategies and events. Works in conjunction with the Chief Advancement Officer to build out donor giving societies and effectively manage welcome, recognition, and stewardship for those donors in mid-level portfolio. Contributes to the fundraising team’s overall fundraising goals. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES This job has no supervisory responsibilities. ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES Performs other job-related tasks as assigned by the Chief Advancement Officer. Requirements

  • Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals or technical procedures.
  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and other informative communication.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from team members, consumers, volunteers and the general public using tact, courtesy and cooperativeness.
  • Public speaking ability is a plus.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

  • Valid Driver's License (Class C), car insurance and reliable automobile required.
  • Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university in Marketing, Communications or Public Relations and three years of nonprofit fundraising experience or related activities; or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
