This specific position is for an Anesthesia Technician II within the Main O.R. Department.

Requirements

CPR certification required.
High School Diploma or equivalent.
1 year anesthesia tech experience required.

Nice To Haves

Completion of an ASATT approved accredited program preferred.

Responsibilities

Checks, maintains, and prepares all related anesthesia equipment according to policy and instructions for use (IFU) including but not limited to anesthesia machines, EKG monitors, defibrillators, etc.
Cleans, checks and stocks all anesthesia carts daily.
Reports any deficiency or fault in operation immediately to Supervisor/Anesthesiologist.
Maintains a clean and orderly anesthesia supply room at all times.
Assists anesthesia personnel as deligated including but not limited to blocks, central lines, etc.
Functions as a preceptor to new employees.
Inspects all equipment and reports any deficiency to supervisor and Biomed.
Orders and maintains appropriate supply inventory.
Troubleshoots anesthesia machines when necessary.
