Requirements

• H.S. Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) Required
• 1 year experience with direct patient care experience in a hospital setting Required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Required

Nice To Haves

• 1 year experience with direct patient care experience in a hospital setting Preferred
• 2 years Previous experience in an operating room Preferred
• Cer.A.T. - Certified Anesthesia Technician Preferred

Responsibilities

• Assists anesthesia providers and other health care members in providing care to the patient undergoing an operative invasive procedure.
• Prepares anesthesia equipment and supplies necessary for administration of general, monitored anesthesia care, or regional anesthesia and supports anesthesia services.
• Maintains inventory levels of anesthesia equipment and supplies.
• Job responsibilities include specific anesthesia and equipment related comprehensive care to the child, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients undergoing invasive procedures.
