NATURE AND SCOPE: We are seeking a highly motivated and Analytical Summer Intern to support our Finance, HR, Marketing, and Philanthropy teams through data analysis and reporting. This role is ideal for a student with a strong foundation in accounting, finance, or data analytics who is eager to apply their skills to real-world business challenges. The intern will work with cross-functional data sets to help generate insights, improve reporting, and support strategic decision-making across the organization.

Requirements

Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or master’s program Accounting, Finance, Data Analytics / Data Management, Business Analytics or related field
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Experience with data visualization tools such as: Tableau or Power BI
Proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, formulas, data analysis)
Ability to work with large datasets and identify trends
Strong attention to detail and data accuracy
Ability to communicate insights clearly to non-technical audiences
Ability to pass a pre-employment background check including Criminal Record check, Drug Screening, motor vehicle record (MVR) and reference check according to company policy.
Must be legally eligible to work in the US without current or future sponsorship.

Nice To Haves

Rising senior undergraduate or graduate student
Exposure to SQL or other data querying tools
Experience with financial systems (e.g., NetSuite, QuickBooks)
Interest in FP&A, business analytics, or strategy

Responsibilities

Financial Data & Analysis Support financial reporting, data validation, and analysis
Assist in identifying trends, variances, and key financial insights
Help maintain and improve financial dashboards and reporting tools
HR & Recruiting Analytics Analyze recruiting and workforce data including: Turnover, Retention, and Time-to-fill
Assist in building and maintaining recruiting and HR dashboards
Identify trends and provide insights to support talent strategies
Marketing & Engagement Data Support analysis of marketing performance and engagement metrics
Assist in tracking campaign effectiveness and identifying trends
Help develop dashboards to visualize marketing data
Philanthropy & Impact Data Analyze donors, campaign, and fundraising data
Support reporting on philanthropic impact and engagement
Assist in creating dashboards to track giving trends and outcomes
Data Visualization & Reporting Build and maintain dashboards using tools such as Tableau or Power BI
Translate complex data into clear, actionable insights
Partner with team members to improve data accessibility and reporting efficiency
