We are currently looking for a Finance Intern (Analytics) for our CLIMBERS Internship Program in our Bloomfield Hills office! This 10-week program will provide the opportunity to support areas of our business and assist with special projects.

Requirements

• Must be currently enrolled in an accredited college or university; Junior or Senior standing preferred.
• Finance, Business, Analytics, or related major preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including intermediate Excel skills; experience with Pivot Tables or data modeling preferred.
• Ability to collect, organize, and analyze data with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to identify trends and patterns to support data-driven decisions.
• Strong problem-solving, organizational, and time-management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
• Demonstrated reliability, strong work ethic, and interpersonal skills.
• Must adhere to team apparel policy.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with Power BI or other data visualization tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Filter, gather and mine data sources to identify trends, challenges, and opportunities.
• Perform data modeling to support annual budgeting, monthly forecasting and strategic decision making.
• Analyze prior purchasing strategies to support business decisions.
• Reconcile 3rd party reporting to ERS data.
• Recommend processes, based on findings, which optimize company performance.
• Work with ERS Business Intelligence system to publish Purchasing / Finance information.
• Ability to clearly summarize, report, and communicate insightful conclusions about key points based on data.
• Provide analytical and data support to Purchasing and Finance as needed.
• Analyze inventory practices.
• Generate and review monthly, quarterly, and yearly reports to identify opportunities for improvement to determine best value proposition.
• Analyze large amounts of information to discover trends and patterns.
• Ability to identify and solve problems without clear instructions while exploring new technology/processes.
