Requirements

Demonstrated experience in a strategic support, project management, or operational role within a fast-paced, complex environment.
Proven ability to build strong relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels of an organization.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a talent for clear, concise, and impactful messaging.
Strong analytical acumen and problem-solving capabilities, comfortable navigating complex data and workflows.
Highly organized, with excellent project management skills, attention to detail and follow-through
Results-oriented with ability to juggle multiple tasks and deadlines, while prioritizing according to urgency
Strong proficiency in standard business productivity software, including advanced experience in presentation and manipulating data using spreadsheet applications; ability to analyze data and draw conclusions.
Ability to analyze data and draw conclusions, developing presentations and reports for senior management with findings, providing recommendations forward.
Demonstrated client service focus and ability to build relationships by supporting teams across the organization.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor’s degree required: preferred degree in business, finance, communications, management, organizational development, human resources, public relations, marketing, or consulting preferred.
1-2 years of related work experience preferred but not required.
Experience within the financial services or technology industry.
Strong proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and AI Tooling.

Responsibilities

Drive communications strategy for the engineering organization and curate a robust content pipeline to convey divisional priorities, enhancing the Engineering brand.
Utilize the firm style guide to develop and approve internal communications throughout the organization.
Review key external engagements to strengthen the external brand and ensure we are engaging with the correct stakeholders and initiatives.
Facilitate and manage cross-functional efforts on a variety of strategic initiatives and special projects related to location strategy (e.g., seating expansion and office buildouts), organizational growth (e.g., headcount planning, efficiency initiatives, and budget optimization), and delivering on technology goals
Collaborate closely with senior leaders to define, monitor, and advance strategic objectives and key business initiatives.
Assist with executing priorities to elevate our Engineers and the Goldman Sachs Engineering brand internally and externally
Identify opportunities for process optimization and efficiency gains, designing and implementing solutions to improve accuracy, effectiveness, and scalability.
Create and maintain organization reporting for strategic growth and efficiency projects to effectively communicate progress on key initiatives in a clear and concise manner.
Support annual business planning cycles, financial forecasting, and resource management, utilizing data to inform strategic decisions and track performance.
Partner with Human Capital Management and other relevant teams on talent management, organizational design, and workforce strategy initiatives.
Proactively identify and address operational challenges, analyze potential risks, and propose effective solutions to maintain business continuity and drive progress.
Manage key business meetings and events for leadership and regional stakeholders.
You will develop a broad understanding of the Engineering organization and the complexities and opportunities surrounding its ambitious business priorities.
You will help Engineering leadership accelerate organizational transformation through the use of skilled communication.
