About The Position

As an Analyst for Workforce Planning, you will play a foundational role in supporting the optimization of our workforce operations. By aiding in trend analysis and working closely with senior staff, your insights will contribute significantly to our workforce's success.

Requirements

• 1-3 years of experience in workforce planning, analytics, or related areas.
• Solid analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and collaboration aptitude.
• Advanced attention to detail, ability to solve problems, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to prioritize and manage concurrent projects and issues skillfully.
• Ability to apply logical and critical thinking principles to various intellectual and practical problems.
• Capability in connecting to different data sources, transforming data, and creating visualizations that can help identify trends and insights using Power BI, Python, Excel, SQL, and/or Tableau.
• Proficiency in using Python data analytics modules such as Pandas, Numpy, and Matplotlib.
• Create and document data analysis workflows in Jupyter Notebooks for reproducibility and collaboration.

Nice To Haves

• Familiarity with the aviation and/or transportation industries is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the study of workforce trends, specifically in areas like sick leave, training, and overtime.
• Participate in stakeholder discussions, collecting essential data and insights.
• Support the creation of basic workforce models based on current business requirements, focused on outage planning and execution, such as Sick and Vacation liability.
• Help senior staff prepare and refine presentations for various stakeholders with in-depth analytical options for the objectives of the business.
• Gather and develop relevant data for capacity planning, operations analysis, workforce-related requirements, and market information to create necessary technical support for workforce optimization initiatives.
