JOB SUMMARY The Analyst is responsible for building and maintaining Sales forecasting templates across all Shiseido US brands. The Analyst will support Sr. Manager of Sales Development with Shiseido US fragrance brands. Preparing weekly and monthly reports to analyze business trends and identify opportunities to drive retail & net sales to achieve plans.

Requirements

  • 1-2 years of retail planning experience (a plus)
  • Extremely proficient in MS Excel
  • Knowledge and experience with Word and PowerPoint
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong analytical and storytelling abilities
  • Can work under pressure with fluctuating deadlines and a high number of tasks
  • Knowledge and experience with the retail or CPG industry
  • Attention to detail, high sense of responsibility, dependable and self-starter
  • Can build and maintain relationships within Shiseido
  • Can work a hybrid schedule (3 days per week in the NY office)

Responsibilities

  • Create forecasting tools that help analyze key business trends across all Shiseido US brands
  • Consolidate across brands for overall Shiseido US roll up for Leadership monthly, quarterly and annual views
  • Using COGNOS, pull weekly shipments, sales deductions, and markdowns data to build daily and weekly recap, analyzing results by brand.
  • Support Sr Manager in Fragrance revenue discussions when needed
  • Compile business review information for corporate meetings
  • Manage Fragrance retail mix of business quarterly output
  • Collaborate with the Reporting Team to maintain up-to-date reporting on shipments, retail and sales deductions.
  • Contribute to add/delete process by reporting visibility on inventory at trade
  • Manage BOM/Inventory reporting by brand and account
  • Manage Shiseido US month end shipping updates with customer service team
  • Support ad hoc sales and inventory performance dashboards
