Primary Purpose Performs activities relating to analysis, evaluation, building, programming, testing, correcting, implementing, operating or supporting existing and planned IT products and processes under the general direction of more experienced personnel. Expands and applies knowledge of customer process to job activities. Works under direct supervision and follows standard procedures to accomplish assigned tasks. This IT Analyst supports the IT organization’s emergency preparedness and storm response activities, helping ensure operational readiness for IT personnel across the enterprise. This role provides essential assistance with coordination, communication, and resource organization before, during, and after storm and or emergency events. The position also contributes to ongoing IT Operational Risk Management (ITORM) initiatives. Storm Readiness & Incident Support Assist with organizing storm duty schedules, confirming assignments, and preparing seasonal materials for storm readiness. Provide support during declared storms by helping with communications, training logistics, and coordination with ERMs and BDs. Operational Monitoring & Communications Monitor the EP Services and ITORM inboxes and feedback channels, track backlog items, and help deliver timely updates during working meetings. Training & Knowledge Support Assist with delivering checklist training sessions, ITORM and IT ERO Office Hours, and Post Storm Review activities. Help maintain and update training materials, including contributing to microlearning content. Change Management & Content Development Support the creation and distribution of communications, guides, and job aids. Assist with planning newsletters, awareness campaigns, and meeting logistics. Systems & Collaboration Tools Support Help maintain IT ERO and ITORM Hubs, SharePoint sites, and Teams channels. Assist with system health checks and provide backup coverage for storm roles as needed during weather events. Note: This is a hybrid position (in-office with remote flexibility). Employees are required to be in office at least three days per week (Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday). This role is open to all of our corporate service areas within IL, PA, NJ, DE, MD or Washington DC. No relocation is available. You must reside within our service areas to be considered.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or in lieu of degree, 1-3 years of combination of education and relevant work experience
  • Typically 0-2 years experience in related experience in Business/IT, Analytics.
  • Appropriate technical skills in Office 365, PowerBI, ServiceNow.
  • Ability to understand and communicate customer issues
  • Ability to work independently
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal)

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science preferred

Responsibilities

  • As directed, perform and document work activities related to analysis, evaluation, building, testing, or implementing planned IT software solutions and processes and/or enhance, maintain or support existing products/processes as per defined services level agreements.
  • Acquire and apply business/IT knowledge.
  • Organize own activities for short term or sub-project/components under the direction of experienced personnel and reports on status.
  • Gain product experience and technical skills through assigned role and training.
  • Ensure adherence to standards as outlined in the management model. Utilize best practices to improve products and services.

  • Annual salary will vary based on a candidate’s skills, qualifications, experience, and other factors: $75,200.00/Yr. – $103,400.00/Yr.
