QuadReal: Excellence lives here. www.quadreal.com Role Description: The Analyst, International Real Estate will support members of the Americas investment team in New York, Los Angeles, and Vancouver. The Analyst conducts detailed financial analysis and due diligence on potential investments, including modeling, market analysis and partner analysis, and supports the creation of investment memoranda. The Analyst also supports the ongoing monitoring of existing investments, tracking performance and projecting cash flows. Analysts will work on a range of transactions including acquisitions, development, recapitalizations, and dispositions.

Requirements

• Education - Hold a relevant undergraduate degree, preferably with a Real Estate, Finance or Economics specialization
• Experience - 0 to 2 years of experience within the institutional investment or real estate industry (REIT, private equity, investment bank, broker, pension fund, or development company)
• Analytical - Strong quantitative and analytical skills; detail-oriented and proficient in building and handling complicated models and data sets
• Communication - Excellent communication and presentation skills; demonstrate an ability to effectively communicate and present results that articulate key themes and messages; ability to exercise strict confidentiality
• Organization - Must be able to allocate time effectively and work under pressure to meet tight deadlines, handle multiple demands and competing priorities, and adapt to new ideas and change. Comfortable following direction but also contributing ideas and insight
• Responsive - Must be extremely proactive and work well in a collaborative environment, with the ability to take guidance but then move projects forward independently
• Software - Must have advanced knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
• Values - Embrace and proactively support QuadReal's values and its culture of environmental sustainability and corporate and social responsibility

Responsibilities

• Underwriting real estate investment opportunities, both acquisitions and development, in both asset and corporate level structures across all property types
• Building and updating complex financial models to analyze new and existing investments
• Creating investment memoranda, supporting investment committee discussions
• Performing confirmatory due diligence for both asset and corporate level structures
• Supporting real estate portfolio management activities including evaluation of portfolio performance, regular investment monitoring calls, third-party meetings with partners and consultants, reviewing annual capital plans, and reviewing quarterly and annual valuations
• Working on ad hoc special projects that support investment processes
• Monitoring and updating the investment pipeline
• Willing to travel
