About The Position

Nakupuna Companies seeks an Analyst III to join a team working under the Office of Health Diplomacy. The Office of Health Diplomacy (HD) serves as the Bureau of Global Health Security and Diplomacy’s (GHSD) central hub for supporting the America First Global Health Strategy. HD focuses on advancing health security, international cooperation, and diplomatic engagement to protect and promote national and global interests.HD seeks a versatile expert capable of navigating complex international landscapes to advance the strategic objectives of the U.S. Government (USG) through collaborative partnerships and policy implementation.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated ability to operate effectively in ambiguous and evolving environments.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to proactively identify and address challenges.
  • Proven track record working with non-governmental organizations (NGOs), government agencies, the private sector, or other international bodies
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the expertise to brief senior-level leadership and international partners.
  • Demonstrated ability to operate effectively in ambiguous and evolving international environments
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to proactively identify and address global health security challenges
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 applications, with experience in SharePoint preferred
  • Canddiate has a PhD: Minimum of 4 or more years of relevant professional experience
  • Canddiate has a Master’s Degree: Minimum of 8 or more years of relevant professional experience.
  • Canddiate has a Bachelor’s Degree: Minimum of 10 or more years of highly relevant professional experience
  • Relevant Fields: Public Health, International Relations, Medical Sciences, Social Sciences, Demography, Epidemiology, or Business Administration.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance.
  • Ability to perform repetitive motions with the hands, wrists, and fingers.
  • Ability to engage in and follow audible communications in emergency situations.
  • Ability to sit for prolonged periods at a desk and working on a computer.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with U.S. Government (USG) foreign assistance programming and the implementation of large-scale health strategies is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with diverse stakeholders, including partner-country governments, NGOs, and the private sector, to achieve long-term health security and diplomatic objectives
  • Navigate complex international landscapes to foster collaborative partnerships that promote U.S. national interests
  • Prepare high-quality briefing materials and reports for senior USG leadership and international partners regarding health security initiatives.
  • Assist in the design and oversight of diplomatic engagement strategies to ensure alignment with Department of State initiatives
  • Facilitate communication and collaboration between interagency partners and global health bodies to streamline diplomatic efforts
  • Deliverables
  • Strategic engagement plans and policy briefing papers for senior leadership
  • Reports on international partnership development and diplomatic outreach
  • Technical assessments of foreign assistance programming alignment with the America First Global Health Strategy
  • Monthly summary reports detailing milestones, stakeholder engagement outcomes, and strategic recommendations
