About The Position

The ERP Analyst III leads the design, development, maintenance, and deployment of functionality across Bi‑State Development’s Oracle E‑Business Suite. This senior‑level role supports multiple functional areas including Financials, Procurement & Payables, Projects & Grants, and Supply Chain/Materials Management, HR, Oracle Advanced Benefits, Payroll, and collaborates with business partners and technical teams to implement solutions that enhance business processes, data integrity, and overall system effectiveness. The position provides both technical and functional leadership and serves as a mentor for other team members.

Requirements

  • In‑depth functional experience in multiple Oracle E‑Business Suite modules.
  • Strong understanding of business processes across finance, supply chain, procurement, inventory, and project accounting.
  • Advanced SQL and PL/SQL development skills; ability to create and troubleshoot complex queries and packages.
  • Experience with Oracle Application Framework (OAF) personalization, HTML pages, and Java class extensions.
  • Experience with Oracle Workflow Builder and Approvals Management (AME).
  • Proficiency with BI Publisher, Oracle Reports, OBIEE/OBIA, and other Oracle reporting tools.
  • Ability to analyze and resolve issues involving data structures, interfaces, and application configurations.
  • Ability to work across integrated systems and multi‑module environments.
  • Strong ability to communicate complex technical concepts to technical and non‑technical audiences.
  • Proven experience estimating tasks, managing workload, and setting priorities.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in complex environments.
  • Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and decision‑making skills.
  • Ability to mentor and guide less experienced team members.
  • Ability to document requirements, recommendations, system information, and project deliverables clearly.
  • Commitment to staying current on Oracle E‑Business Suite technologies and best practices.
  • Minimum 4 Year / Bachelors Degree Computer Science, information systems, or related field.
  • Minimum of (5) five years of related profession experience with ERP systems, with significant Oracle E Business Suite background.

Responsibilities

  • Gathers, analyzes, and documents business requirements across multiple Oracle EBS functional areas.
  • Determines solution approaches using Oracle configurations, customizations, workflows, and extensions.
  • Develops business cases, recommendations, and estimates for enhancements and system changes.
  • Designs, builds, tests, and deploys new Oracle EBS functionality, integrations, and configurations.
  • Analyzes and resolves complex issues involving data, application logic, interfaces, and process workflows.
  • Documents Oracle configurations, support processes, technical specifications, and system changes.
  • Ensures proper execution of unit, system, user acceptance testing (UAT), and performance testing in collaboration with infrastructure, database, and quality assurance (QA) teams.
  • Leads troubleshooting efforts and root‑cause analysis for cross‑module issues.
  • Works with business stakeholders to identify process improvements, automation opportunities, and new capabilities to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Mentors junior analysts and provides guidance in technical, functional, and analytical areas.
  • Develops and maintains structured query language (SQL) queries, PL/SQL packages, fast formulas, BI Publisher reports, and other Oracle development objects.
  • Supports data conversions, interface development, and integration projects across HR, Payroll, Financials, Procurement, and Inventory modules.
  • Assists in new system rollouts, patching cycles, and upgrades (including R12.2.x).
  • Provides orientation, training, and functional support to Oracle end users.
  • Participates in enterprise‑wide initiatives and multi‑module projects requiring deep functional and technical expertise.
  • Coordinates with external vendors and internal teams to ensure alignment of technical solutions.
  • Maintains knowledge of Oracle best practices, standards, and emerging features.
  • Evaluates enhancement requests for feasibility, scope, and alignment with system strategy.
  • Supports non‑Oracle applications as needed (e.g., EAM, FleetFocus, Loftware).
