Position Summary The Analysis Technology (AT) team maintains the quality of fab utilities and wafer environments to ensure the highest product standards. In this role, the technician will join the AT Chemical and Water Analysis Team, collaborating with facilities departments to enhance equipment capabilities, improve operational efficiency, and elevate utility quality—while proactively reducing stop‑loss incidents.

Requirements

  • Associates degree or other technical certificate is required.
  • 8-10 years equivalent technical Military service or 8-10 years of Semiconductor experience preferred.
  • Must have strong communication, teamwork, analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Focused on continuous improvement in fast-paced, changing environment.
  • A high level of initiative and a desire to learn are essential.
  • Reliable and punctual attendance is required.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint is necessary for creating documentation.

Responsibilities

  • Work in the AT Chemical and Water Analysis Team.
  • Collaborate with facilities departments such as GCS (Gas and Chemical Systems), WTR (Water), and Unit Parts to monitor the quality of incoming utilities and wafer processing equipment for contamination.
  • Focus on improving capabilities, efficiency and stop loss of the equipment, and quality of the utilities.
  • The role includes e daily tasks, long term projects, and internal and external collaboration.
  • Responsibilities include maintaining KPIs to measure improvement, providing progress reports, and occasionally presenting weekly reports to management.
  • Own a VPD-ICPMS (vapor phase decomposition Inductively Coupled Plasma Mass Spectrometry) FAB based tool.
  • Maintain fleet of LPCs (Liquid Particle Counter) monitoring chemicals.
  • Act as the safety coordinator and cost representative for the Chemical Water Team.
  • Successful performance in the role requires daily monitoring of 144 VPD-ICPMS trends and 42 LPC trends with proactive maintenance on the equipment to minimize stop loss for critical quality defense lines for the site.
