Paragon is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Analog Electronics Design Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the design, analysis, and documentation of analog electronic systems that support nuclear safety. This position requires an individual that can take written specification to a manufacturable hardware design. The individual will be responsible for creating analog circuit designs that meet specified design requirements. Circuit simulation experience, PCB schematic capture and layout experience is required. Ability to calculate tolerances, errors, and drift are examples of expected design functions. Candidate must be able to write circuit function and individual component justifications, along with circuit theory of operation in detail. Post design functions, such as writing acceptance and testing procedures will be part of the typical duties and expectations. Prior nuclear experience is preferred but not required. A core component of this position also involves the reverse engineering and modernization of legacy electronics, ensuring long-term reliability and performance in highly regulated environments. This role is ideal for engineers with a deep understanding of analog design principles who are also adept at tackling the challenges of obsolete components and re-creating complex, safety-critical systems.
