This position is responsible for the development of discrete, hybrid, and custom IC design products.
Requirements
BS in Electrical Engineering
Zero – Three (0-3) years of relevant industry experience (electronics) with an understanding of analog and/or mixed signal design
Proficiency in design tools including Spice simulation, schematic capture, PCB layout.
Data collection and post processing.
Present data to peers, management, and customers
Translate customer and market requirements into design requirements and product specifications.
Nice To Haves
Advanced Engineering degree.
Proven competence in operational amplifier design.
Power circuits design and development.
Experience with hybrid microcircuit or multichip module technologies.
Design team lead experience including coordination of cross-functional product development resources.
Schedule planning and tracking using software tools such as MS Project.
Hybrid and board-level circuit layout experience.
Lab characterization and debug skills.
Responsibilities
Transistor level design of high-voltage and high-power products using discrete semiconductor and passive components in hybrid and SMT assembly technologies.
Specification and selection of discrete semiconductors, passive components, and IC components for use in analog and mixed signal designs.
Hybrid and SMT circuit layout supervision.
Bread boarding/prototyping
Conduct design verification and validation.
Collaborate with marketing, test, automation, process, and applications engineers to develop high performance analog and mixed signal products from initial concept phase throughout the product release process.
Participate in product definition and design specification.
Create the necessary design and product documentation and participate in design reviews.
