The Novelis North America AMS & Product Management Team is looking for an Account Management Specialist (AMS) Manager, Specialties Continuous Cast (CC), located in Atlanta. The AMS Manager is responsible for leading a team of Account Management Specialists (AMS) to validate customer orders and forecasts and ensure they are entered accurately and timely into the order entry system. They ensure the quality and consistency of all Specialties CC customer orders, and that the sales demand is aligned with the sales and operating plan (S&OP). They will communicate effectively with multiple levels of the organization and Customers. They are responsible for the day-to-day supervision of the Account Management Specialists including hiring, training, coaching, and development. This role reports to the Director, NNA AMS & Product Management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in business or similar subject area
  • 5-7 years related experience in multinational manufacturing company
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Previous customer service experience at the leadership level
  • Leadership skills to direct, lead, and develop team members to accomplish objectives
  • Experience working with an ERP order entry and forecasting system

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s degree in relevant field
  • Previous management experience
  • Oracle, Concast, QAD, Salesforce familiarity / experience

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for leading and developing a team of Account Management Specialists (AMS)
  • Support customer service strategies set by the Director, NNA Product Management and the Specialties CC Commercial team
  • Manage customer satisfaction and delivery metrics
  • Lead aspects of strategic customer relationships with Mastic/Ply Gem, Gentek, OmniMax International, Service Partners, and others
  • Ensure orders are aligned to the sales and operations plan (S&OP) and supervise booking control activities for timeliness and accuracy
  • Coordinate the resolution plan for aging inventory
  • Ensure monthly pricing (e.g., Conversion Premium, Metal Pricing, etc.) is entered correctly and aligned with commercial contracts
  • Work with Director, NNA Product Management and peer AMS Managers to identify areas of improvement in regards to standardization of customer service training, processes, technology gaps and needs, and other enablers that will improve our overall service to the customers
