About The Position
Serve our community in 2026 in a collaborative environment, helping individuals improve their skills and their lives in a nationally recognized, service-based shelter model that addresses the root causes of poverty and homelessness. Haven for Hope is partnering with AmeriCorps to offer a qualified individual the opportunity to serve at Haven for Hope, helping our clients to bridge The Digital Divide. Digital Navigators will promote their one-one and classroom instruction through outreach at on-campus Orientations and events, as well as through referrals from Case Management, Housing, Employment, and Clinical Counseling staff. Benefits of service include: Bi-weekly living allowance of $1,002 before tax (or $26,072 annually before tax) $7,395 Segal AmeriCorps Education Award upon successful completion of service term (at least 1700 hours) Loan deferment and interest forbearance (on qualifying student loans) Relocation allowance (for members relocating 50+ miles from their home of record) Health insurance Childcare coverage for qualifying members One-time housing assistance up to $750 (for the year) Google Career Certificate(s) Leadership development Digital literacy skill development Valuable professional networking opportunities Alumni networks
