About The Position
About the Unit We are the Head and Neck Surgery Clinic at Lemmon Holton Cancer Pavilion. We are made of two specialties – Surgical Services and Cancer Health. We are an outpatient practice that provides all the care coordination/ support we can for our patients and caregivers through their cancer health journey. Our clinic is open Monday through Friday, No Holidays/Weekends! We have an amazing clerical and clinical team that is engaged everyday! We are looking for someone to be a partner with us and dependable/hard working. About Outpatient Clinics Corewell Health operates over 300 outpatient clinics across Michigan, bringing a multitude of care options to the communities that we serve. There are over 40 different types of primary care and specialty practices, which allows those who work in these clinics the opportunity to learn and explore various interests or to specialize in one area. Scope of Work Under direct general supervision of the registered nurse/provider and following hospital policy and procedure, provides nursing care to patients. Implements nursing care procedures, evaluates patient progress, and assists in modification of care plan as necessary. Provides teaching to patients and their families. While actual responsibilities and duties may vary depending upon the clinical area assigned, the following are typical duties that would be performed, under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse or provider.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent Required
- AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification Required within 90 Days
