About The Position

Position Overview Responsible for identifying, evaluating, analyzing and recommending changes in support of assigned applications/systems including ongoing production maintenance and trouble-shooting. Supports the planning, design, development, build and/or configuration of assigned applications/systems. Leads and/or coordinates conversions, application/system testing and documentation of system procedures. Participates and provides input in training design and development and assists in training execution in relation to assigned projects. Provides go-live support and serves as primary point of contact for ongoing maintenance/support and trouble-shooting. Primary Department, Division, or Unit: Epic Ambulatory Applications, UHS Information Technology Primary Work Shift: Day Regular Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40 Compensation Range: per hour, depending on experience

Requirements

  • Two to three (2-3) years of healthcare operations (clinical, patient care, administrative or revenue cycle), information technology or health information technology experience OR Demonstrated competency in Applications Analyst I role
  • For Epic roles: Current Epic certification(s) OR Willing to travel for training and achieve certification within 90 days of completion of training at Epic in application as assigned.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field (information technology or clinical/healthcare fields)
  • Current Epic certification(s)
