The attendant will up sell beverages, pastries and other selections, accurately process transactions, and provide excellent service to all guests.
Requirements
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
- Must have alcohol training certification (TABC) and food handlers training certification
- Must be able to bend, push, pull and stand for extended periods of time
- Must be able to work in a fast paced environment providing courteous service
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule including day, evening, weekends and holidays
Nice To Haves
- Previous barista experience preferred
- Previous cash handling experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Responsible to answer the phone within three rings
- Brewing gourmet coffee and other specialty beverages
- Prepare enough product to meet business demands
- Serving guests in the café
- Must follow prepared scenario to encourage upselling
- Prepare payment of checks
- Know and adhere to all liability laws
- Printing of reports at the end of the shift and banking out
- Complete other duties assigned
- Attend all designated staff meetings and training sessions
- Daily Inventory and Product Controls
- Continual upkeep and overall appearance of Morsel’s area
