About The Position

We are hiring a full-time Barista at a premier client’s office space to greet, prepare and serve fantastic beverages for employees that work in the space. This is a full time, Monday through Friday role which starts at 6am each day ending at 2:30pm, No weekends, No holidays. Our kitchen is more than just a space for meals; it's a hub for collaboration, mentorship, and personal growth.

Requirements

  • HS Diploma or GED equivalent required
  • 1 or more years experience creating common coffee beverages as well as highly specialized drink orders
  • Excellent listening and communication skills to effectively interact with coworkers and customers
  • Basic coffee knowledge, such as how to prepare common coffee beverages, although advanced knowledge, such as roasting and grinding processes, coffee bean sourcing and flavor differences, can be helpful
  • Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills to interact in a positive manner and prevent or resolve conflicts
  • Strong teamwork abilities to work efficiently in a fast-paced and high-volume environment with other Baristas
  • Attention to detail to manage specific customer requests as well as a high-volume beverage assembly line with minimal errors
  • Time management and organizational skills to work efficiently and effectively in a high-volume workplace
  • Must have and maintain an active Handlers’ Card (ServSafe) and adhere to local food handler requirement
  • Maintain an exceptional personal record of punctuality and attendance
  • Consistently perform all duties in a responsible and efficient manner

Responsibilities

  • Preparing and serving hot and cold drinks, such as coffee, tea, and specialty beverages
  • Taking orders and customizing them as requested
  • Providing feedback to management and connecting with customers
  • Maintaining a clean and organized workspace, and cleaning and sanitizing equipment, utensils, dishes, and work areas
  • Maintaining inventory and managing storage and supplies
  • Adhering to food safety and sanitation guidelines
