About The Position

As an Alumni Integration Specialist, you'll be a vital part of the Member & Alumni Experience team, dedicated to keeping Tulsa Remote alumni engaged and integrated into the Tulsa community. Your primary goal will be to help alumni thrive personally and professionally, ensuring they choose to stay in Tulsa beyond their initial 12-month commitment. You'll collaborate with a diverse array of local professionals and organizations to provide alumni with the resources they need to succeed. As members of the Alumni Integration team, this role also supports the delivery of key elements of the Tulsa Remote Ambassador Program. Key to this role is your ability to listen, engage, share resources, and connect with people from all backgrounds. With Tulsa Remote expanding rapidly, you'll need to be flexible and adaptable to new processes.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • 2-3 years of professional work experience in client management, case management, or other social services-related environments preferred.
  • Demonstrated engagement in the community, knowledge about Tulsa history, and familiarity with a wide range of civic organizations, services, businesses, etc.

Adapts communication methods to different audiences and ensures key information is communicated effectively.   • Has the flexibility to travel locally and work from multiple locations within Tulsa to enhance member engagement.
  • Ability to stand, walk, and remain active for extended periods at events and meetings Frequent use of computers, phones, and digital tools
  • Must be able to travel locally within Tulsa and work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
  • Candidate will need a valid driver's license and insurance

  • As knowledge of the local community and resources is a requirement, applicants who have lived in Tulsa for a year or more are preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Learn, embody, and advocate for the mission and values of Tulsa Remote, using them as a foundation to support alumni in establishing meaningful connections within the Tulsa community.
  • Oversee and support key aspects of the Tulsa Remote Ambassador Program, fostering alumni engagement and strengthening community ties
  • Facilitate communication cycles for Ambassador and Alumni networks, including event postings, newsletters, and survey messaging.
  • Support the Ambassador onboarding experience by recruiting alumni, scoring applications, hosting interviews, and providing a clear orientation to the Ambassador Program as needed.
  • Collaborate across various teams to help fill open roles requiring Ambassador support
  • Facilitate 1-on-1 meetings with Ambassadors to gather feedback and input, and support their efforts as a volunteer.
  • Attend Tulsa Remote-sponsored events to support operational roles, engage with attendees, build meaningful connections, and provide follow-up support as needed. This includes recruitment events when applicable.
  • Partner with the ET Events Team to assist in planning and executing logistics for Alumni and support ambassador events. Provide insights to improve event programming based on alumni and member feedback.
  • Plan and host alumni-focused events by managing logistics, confirming details, and ensuring these gatherings promote meaningful interactions and connections.
  • Conduct regular check-ins with alumni to understand their needs and provide tailored support for their personal and professional growth in Tulsa.
  • Organize and facilitate intimate alumni group gatherings that focus on community building and local impact.
  • Respond to alumni inquiries on Slack, share resources, and promote events and opportunities to encourage alumni engagement with the Tulsa community.
  • Manage multiple ongoing projects and deadlines with precision, ensuring goals are achieved on time and to a high standard.
  • Maintain accurate, up-to-date alumni records in Salesforce, tracking their status, needs, and engagement activities to inform strategic planning.
