About The Position

Culmen International is hiring a Disposition Alternative Project Manager to provide support for the Defense Logistics Agency DLA Disposition Services is the reverse logistics experts for the Department of Defense. We are the premiere source for reutilization, transfer, donation, and turn-in of property and we offer a wide variety of services to accomplish this mission for the warfighter. What You’ll Do in Your New Role The Disposition Alternate Project Manager (DAPM) shares responsibility for the performance of work and oversight of all contract matters relating to daily operations of this contract. The position assists the Disposition Project Manager with tracking, reporting, purchasing and other administrative duties. The position is the secondary point of contact if the Disposition Project Manager is not available. This position uses some subject-matter knowledge and judgment to complete assignments consisting of numerous steps varying in nature and sequence. The work is under general supervision of higher-level personnel, including but not limited to, the Disposition Project Manager. The Disposition Alternate Project Manager shall also manage quality program planning, quality program evaluation, identifying and resolving quality issues, and technical advisory services such as evaluating systems, analyzing data, establishing quality control procedures. Performs quality control surveillances of processes, procedures, conformance to contract requirements, which includes Audit Readiness Internal Controls as QC inspection criteria. The Disposition Alternate Project Manager uses WMS and other Government Data Systems. The ADPM shall have the ability to deploy globally in support of emerging requirements, within 48 hours of notification.

Requirements

  • Must have an Active Secret US Government Clearance
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent five (5) years Government or private-sector work experience
  • Three years of experience in logistics or contingency operations management
  • One year previous supervisory experience, preferably in a government contract environment
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Strong computer skills, specifically in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • As needed, ability to successfully pass any medical requirements and maintain requirements for duration of any deployment.

Responsibilities

  • Serves as primary government point of contract when Disposition Project Manager is not available.
  • Assists in managing day-to-day execution and oversight.
  • Ensures compliance, performance and reporting requirements are met successfully.
  • Designated POC in direct oversight and subcontractor management as directed by Program leadership.
  • Shares in overseeing all scheduling of personnel / work supervision / quality control.
  • Monitors cost control, financial reports, budgeting, and overall operating costs.
  • Recommends, develops, implements, and enforce procedures/programs to increase efficiency and improve cost effectiveness to the program.
