About The Position

Under limited supervision, plans, directs, and evaluates total patient care and functions in the transport environment on a particular shift, in accordance with established corporate philosophy. Orients, trains, and manages transport personnel. Relates effectively with other shifts for continuity of care; maintains positive relations with referring and receiving departments and nursing units; participates in all phases of education, maintenance of records, and upgrading of policies, procedures, and skills of personnel. Requirements

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent Required
  • Must be eligible for medical command in the Commonwealth of PA.
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support Required
  • Basic Life Support Required
  • Paramedic Certification Required
  • Drivers License Required
  • EMS Vehicle Operator Required

Nice To Haves

  • Associate's Degree Preferred
  • Bachelor's Degree Preferred
  • 1 year experience performing critical care interfacility transport Preferred
  • 3 years experience (minimum 4000 hours) in 911 or equivalent environment as an EMTParamedic Preferred
  • Critical Care Paramedic Cert Preferred
  • Natl Reg. Emergency Med Techs Preferred
  • Neonatal Resuscitation Program Preferred
  • Pediatric Adv. Life Support Preferred
  • PreHospital Trauma LifeSupport Preferred
