About The Position
Fortis Institute in Lawrenceville NJ is seeking an experienced, highly motivated Allied Health Professional to join its faculty. We are seeking an energetic and enthusiastic faculty member to teach (insert subject) in our (insert name of program). This is a full-time, professional position reporting directly to the Program Director. The primary responsibility will be to teach (insert subject) courses. The typical teaching load is three courses each term, with two or three preparations. Applicants will also be expected to provide academic advising to students, assist the program director, and participate in department training, meetings, and graduation.
Requirements
- An associate degree in an allied health field is preferred, but a certificate of completion or diploma is required
- At least three of experience as an Allied Health Professional working in a clinical setting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Highly organized, motivated, and results-driven
Nice To Haves
- Prior higher education/postsecondary teaching experience preferred but not required
