Part-Time Alarm/CCTV Technician
About The Position
AmeriGuard Security Systems is seeking one motivated and professional low-voltage technician to work 24+ hours a week, Wednesday through Friday, and occasional Saturdays, installing, servicing, maintaining, and repairing new and existing alarm and surveillance systems for residential and commercial locations. AmeriGuard is a veteran-owned company. Position duties: Knowledge and installation of low-voltage wiring Troubleshooting and problem-solving of Alarm/CCTV systems. Customer service and communication skills Training and explaining of system functions to customers. Ability to climb a ladder with tools. Flexible schedule Perform clean and professional work.
Requirements
- Possess a clean criminal and driving record and be able to pass a background check.
- Must have own tools
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- ACE/Agent license
- Clean and professional appearance
- High School diploma or GED if available
- Knowledge and installation of most alarm panels, including DSC, Honeywell, and GE.
- Knowledge and installation of surveillance systems, including Hikvision, Digital Watch Dog, Networking / Access control systems
- Takeover of existing alarm systems
- Use of a tablet, smartphone, or laptop
- Alarm System & Access Control Technicians: 1 year (Required)
