Job Description As a Security Officer - Corporate Campus Patrol in Honolulu, HI , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a government airport location, you will monitor and patrol terminals, perimeters, and access points, conduct routine patrols, and document observations while remaining highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will greet travelers and staff, communicate clearly with site contacts, and respond to concerns with professionalism. Requirements

  • 21+ years of age
  • Security Experience: 1+ years
  • Be at least 21 years of age for unarmed roles; 22+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to visitors, passengers, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government aviation location.
  • Conduct regular and random foot patrols of terminals, parking areas, and perimeter zones to help to deter prohibited activity and/or policy violations.
  • Monitor access points and restricted areas by checking credentials, observing for unauthorized entry attempts, and directing individuals to appropriate screening and/or check-in resources per post orders.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with site personnel and/or public agency partners as needed.
  • Complete detailed incident reports, patrol logs, and other required documentation, and communicate observations to Allied Universal supervision and/or site leadership.
