Requirements

Valid Driver's License
21+ years of age
Have ability to pass a background check, drug screening, and physical exam
Ability to obtain AOA badge (Federal Background Check in ordinance with DOT requirements)
Be 21+ years of age.
Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Be at least 21 years of age for unarmed roles; 22+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to travelers, staff, and visitors by following site-specific procedures, access requirements, and other security-related policies for a government airport location.
Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of terminals, parking areas, roadways, and perimeter zones to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify hazards or maintenance concerns.
Monitor designated entry points and restricted areas, verify credentials as required, and direct individuals to appropriate check-in, screening, and/or service locations.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including alarms, disturbances, medical calls, and/or emergency response activities as directed by post orders.
Complete detailed reports on patrol observations, incidents, and daily activity, and communicate timely updates to Allied Universal leadership and on-site partners.
