Job Description As an Airport Security Officer - CCTV Unit in Honolulu, HI , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within a government location, helping to deter security-related incidents through your visible presence and exceptional customer service. You will interact with the public and staff, providing clear communication and support while upholding our values of teamwork, reliability, and integrity. Requirements
- 21+ years of age
- Security Experience: 1+ years
- Be at least 21 years of age for unarmed roles; 22+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining professionalism at all times.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the assigned location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and identify potential risks.
- Observe and report any suspicious behavior, hazards, or irregularities encountered during patrols within the location.
- Communicate clearly with team members and supervisors regarding incidents, observations, and any security-related concerns.
- Assist with access control by monitoring entry and exit points and verifying credentials as required by site policies.
- Support Allied Universal in maintaining a welcoming environment while upholding the security-related standards of the government location.
