About The Position

As a Airport Security Officer - Park Team in Honolulu, HI, you will safeguard the airport, staff, and it's facilities. Along with driving, patrolling, checking, and securing doors. You will conduct routine patrols, remain highly visible, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication to all visitors and staff. Requirements

• Valid Driver's License (+1 years)
• 21+ years of age
• Ability to pass a background check, physical, and drug screening
• Ability to pass a background check according to the DOT Pass and ID office
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be able to ride a bike.
• Be at least 21 years of age for unarmed roles; 22+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government aviation facility.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols of terminals, parking areas, access points, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity, hazards, and/or policy violations.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify identification and/or credentials as required, and assist with directing passengers, employees, and vendors to approved locations.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with site contacts and public agency partners as needed.
• Document patrols, incidents, and service requests in written reports and/or electronic systems, and promptly communicate observations through the chain of command.
