Requirements

Valid Driver's License
21+ years of age
Have ability to pass a background check, drug screening, and physical exam
Ability to obtain AOA badge (Federal Background Check in ordinance with DOT requirements)
Be 21+ years of age.
A guard card and/or license is preferred.
Be at least 21 years of age for unarmed roles; 22+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government aviation location.
Conduct regular and random foot patrols of terminals, curbside areas, parking areas, and perimeter zones to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify hazards or suspicious conditions.
Monitor access points and restricted areas, verify identification and/or credentials as required, and assist with visitor and vendor entry procedures in accordance with site requirements.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with crowd control and/or evacuations as directed by site protocols.
Complete timely reports of incidents, inspections, and patrol activities, and communicate observations to site leadership and/or public agency partners when needed.
