About The Position

Abby’s Catering has been delivering exceptional culinary and hospitality experiences since 1980. We support private, corporate, and commercial aviation, serving high-profile clients with precision, professionalism, and care. Our drivers play a critical role in ensuring safe, timely, and secure delivery of in-flight meals and equipment. Driver I team members are responsible for the safe transportation and delivery of in-flight catering items throughout the Houston metro area and secure airport environments. Drivers represent Abby’s Catering to our airline and aviation partners and are expected to maintain a high standard of professionalism, safety, and attention to detail. Safety always comes first. Speeding, reckless driving, or violations of traffic or airport rules are not tolerated. Location: George Bush Intercontinental Airport (IAH) Schedule: Flexible; early start times (as early as 3:00 AM) Pay: $20/hour

Requirements

Must speak and understand English (required for airport badging and safety compliance)
Valid and clean Texas driver’s license (Class C required)
Ability to pass background check and airport badging requirements
Strong time management and reliability
Ability to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays as needed
Ability to lift, push, and pull carts and boxes
Comfortable working in cold storage environments
Standing, walking, and physical activity throughout the shift

Nice To Haves

Delivery or professional driving experience preferred
Class B or Class A license is a plus

Responsibilities

Safely transport meals, equipment, and supplies to and from aircraft and facilities
Operate company vehicles in compliance with all traffic, airport, and safety regulations
Maintain clean, organized, and well-presented vehicles at all times
Follow food safety, food defense, and security protocols
Ensure proper handling of carts, seals, and delivery documentation
Communicate professionally with dispatch, operations, and customers
Wear company-issued uniform and maintain professional appearance
