About The Position

Responsible for maintaining and ensuring currency of all assigned aircraft, engine, & component records (Helicopter/Fixed-Wing) to include aircraft logbook entries, airworthiness directives/service bulletin compliance, and aircraft life-limited component tracking in accordance with company and federal regulatory requirements. This role involves daily auditing of maintenance entries on line and in an approved maintenance record database, converting aircraft records into digital format for archiving and retrieving, and ensuring the accuracy of recorded maintenance, aircraft hours/cycles, and component removals/replacements. The auditor will also research and disposition historical records, perform periodic aircraft records audits for completeness and accuracy, and act as a resource for field personnel in resolving record keeping issues.

Requirements

High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
One to three years’ related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Previous aviation experience is required
Able to read and understand technical manuals and regulatory documents
Ability to make simple mathematical calculations
Strong interpersonal skills and high degree of collaboration at all levels
Excellent organization skills and detail oriented
Proficient with Microsoft Suite, including Word, Access, Excel and Outlook

Nice To Haves

Military record keeping experience is preferred
A&P License is preferred

Responsibilities

Daily audit of all Maintenance entries on line and in approved maintenance record database.
Ensure that recorded maintenance on aircraft is entered into the computer maintenance tracking system.
Convert aircraft records into digital format for archiving and retrieving.
Review aircraft hours/cycles daily to ensure data is correct.
Ensure accuracy of component removals and replacement in the maintenance database to include accuracy of part numbers and serial numbers.
Research and disposition historical records for aircraft.
Perform periodic aircraft records audit for completeness and accuracy.
Acts as a resource for field personnel in the resolution of record keeping issues.
Regular scheduled attendance.
Other Duties as assigned.
