About The Position

Lockheed Martin plays an important role in the national security of the United States and more than 70 other nations, ensuring peace and stability around the world. We are on a mission to strengthen the backbone of the free world by supporting Ebbing Field’s mission as the world class fighter jet training center for Foreign Military Sales (FMS) customers in Fort Smith, Arkansas. This position revises daily aircraft production, PAIR, TCTDs, and aircrew de-brief. Other responsibilities include: Use Fifth Generation aircraft management tools “Autonomic Logistics Information System" (ALIS) to track aircraft history, maintenance, engine data and Time Compliance Technical Directive (TCTDs) and time change items. Performs aircraft and aircrew debriefing. Coordinates with Maintenance Manager on schedules, aircraft status and issues as they occur. Provide On-The Job training to government personnel as it pertains to Aircraft Debriefing and Maintenance Ops Center operations. Maintains accurate aircraft status boards and performs other duties as directed by the Manager. Requires the application of experience and good judgment when dealing with customers. Considered candidates must be capable of working first (1st), second (2nd), and third (3rd) shift(s) and departing on business travel and temporary duty assignments, on short notice, dependent on customer needs. Candidate must be able to work mandatory overtime when required. Must possess at least an Interim Secret Security Clearance and be able to obtain / maintain a Final Secret clearance. Must be a US Citizen. This position is located at a facility that requires special access. Typical Minimums : Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 6 years of professional experience; or 4 years of professional experience with a related Masters degree. Requirements

  • 4 years experience in U.S. Air Force aircraft maintenance or weapons AFSC (2A and 2W), equivalent U.S. Navy NEC or U.S. Marine MOS, or US Army aviation maintenance MOS or equivalent commercial/civilian experience
  • Aircraft maintenance experience
  • Knowledge of Autonomic Logistics Information System (ALIS)
  • Experience with Aircraft Flying/Maintenance Debriefing and the associated software
  • Must possess at least an Interim Secret Security Clearance and be able to obtain / maintain a Final Secret clearance
  • Must be a US Citizen
  • Must be capable of working first (1st), second (2nd), and third (3rd) shift(s) and departing on business travel and temporary duty assignments, on short notice, dependent on customer needs

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Portable Maintenance Aid (PMA) activities such as aircraft forms documentation
  • Experience with Autonomic Logistics Information System (ALIS)
  • Knowledge of Safety, Tool Control, Foreign Object Damage (FOD), Supply, Hazardous Material (HAZMAT), Training Management System (TMS), Quality, or Security programs
  • Excellent communication skills
