The Aircraft Assembler is responsible for drilling, deburring, and assembling component parts, including installing ground studs, nutplates, and bonding materials. This role involves following process specifications, blueprints, work orders, and engineering instructions to assemble and repair sheet metal products. Key tasks include pulling parts, reporting shortages, working with various gauges of aluminum, cleaning and loading components, and performing operations such as drilling, riveting, countersinking, trimming, grinding, and buffing to meet specifications. Assemblers must also identify and report defective materials or equipment, complete rework, and maintain quality and safety standards.
