Requirements

FAA repair station experience preferred
Prior experience performing work in accordance with FAA regulations
Be competent and experienced in the use of various hand tools and measuring equipment required
Experience using various measurement tools such as micrometers, pressure gauges, multi-meters required
Must be at least 18 years of age
Must be eligible to work in the U.S.
High School diploma/GED required
Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English and be able to communicate effectively with other employees
Must be able to interpret documents such as policy, repair and safety manuals
Positive disposition, professional attitude, professional appearance
Must meet airport badging requirements, including a TSA Security background check
Must have a valid Driver's License and meet all company insurance criteria
Successful completion of pre-employment required DOT drug screening and other required background checks
Frequently required to sit, stand, walk, use hands to manipulate objects, reach, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
Must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 75
Ability to perform repetitive tasks
May work outdoors or in hangar
May work in close proximity to moving aircraft and machinery
May work in a potentially noisy work environment

Responsibilities

Accomplish repairs, overhauls, and inspections, on aircraft components such as, landing gear, brakes, wheels, etc.
Document work completed per company procedures and Federal Aviation Regulations
Manufacture, repair, and overhaul aircraft parts in accordance with written instructions, blueprints or engineering drawings
Read and interpret written instructions, blueprints or engineering drawings accurately
Accurately and legibly record each maintenance or alteration on the proper repair station and/or customer supplied forms (to include signature or initials)
Maintain records such as work order documentation, logs, and time & material records
Maintain a clean and safe work area
Other duties as assigned
