Overview RC is seeking an Air Quality Project Manager to join our Air Measurements practice in our Tampa, FL office. This individual may report to our other FL Offices as well, with the potential to work from various locations within the state. The position requires strong air quality technical capabilities, desire to solve complex problems, commitment to excellence, and the ability to develop client relationships.

Requirements

  • BS or MS in chemical, environmental, mechanical, civil engineering, or environmental related discipline.
  • 10 years+ of environmental, air quality compliance, permitting experience, including programs such as Title V, EPA Toxic Release Inventory, New Source Review, Air Quality permitting and MACT.
  • Recent working relationships and experience within the EPA Toxic Release, Pollution, Air Resources, Quality Air permitting, and/or industrial sectors.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills.
  • An effective collaborator and strategic thinker.

  • PE license or environmental certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Lead air quality compliance, permitting, and related high-impact projects for chemical, forest products, refinery, power, oil and gas and industrial clients located in the Colorado region.
  • Serve as a technical resource on air quality compliance assurance and permitting programs, including regulatory analyses of facility operations; major and minor source air permit applications under NSR, PSD, Title V, and state-level regulations; and NESHAP MACT compliance programs.
  • Exceed client expectations with frequent communication, effective proposal development, and producing high quality work products.
  • Collaborate with project teams to provide exceptional project deliverables related to air quality permitting and compliance in an efficient and timely manner.
  • Manage project budgets and complete project invoicing, consistent with TRC best practices.
  • Work with other TRC project managers and leaders across the Air Quality Consulting group on strategic pursuits within the company, region, and in the air quality arena including energy projects including extraction, transport, and generation.
