This role, an Air Export Gateway Agent, is crucial for processing Air Export Gateway consolidations, ensuring excellent customer service, maintaining vendor relations, and managing capacity and compliance within the network.

Requirements

Responsibilities

  • Provide excellent customer service to both internal/external and customers.
  • Maintain positive attitude within the workplace and drive improvement professionally and personally.
  • Relate to internal peers at different levels as well as external customers and vendors.
  • Work without constant supervision, demonstrating self-motivation and attention to detail.
  • Assume the role of a leader and take charge of situations.
  • Process Air Export Gateway consolidations, including receiving cargo, planning or booking the cargo, processing consolidation paperwork, transferring to carrier, and tracking and tracing until arrival.
  • Maintain positive vendor relations.
  • Communicate constantly with the warehouse staff during the consolidation process to ensure quality and compliance to protect the network.
  • Dispatch and oversee all airport transfers and pickups with local trucking vendors.
  • Commit to quality and data integrity, responsible for daily updating and monitoring of various reporting tools “Gateway Workflow” & “Transportation Management”.
  • Pay detailed attention to accounting to ensure timely and correct bill payments.
  • Manage capacity through posted consolidation schedules and in booking additional space as needed.
  • Complete 52 hours of training per year.
  • Engage in constant self-development via a Personal Development plan.
  • Identify trouble areas within the process and work with the team to make improvements.
  • Trend and analyze data to drive improvements.
  • Foster and improve Service Provider partnerships and relationships.
