CAE is seeking an Air Carrier Compliance Lead to support air carrier compliance operations across Part 121, 125, and 135 operators. This role serves as a key subject matter expert, providing regulatory oversight, audit leadership, and operational support while partnering closely with internal teams and external operators to ensure consistent adherence to FAA requirements. Description Lead and coordinate audits for Part 121, 125, and 135 operations, including Operations Specifications, Training Programs, SOPs, checklists, and Instructor/Check Airman records. Identify compliance gaps, coordinate corrective actions, and ensure consistency across operator files. Maintain, update, and control manuals and required documentation for assigned air carrier certificates. Provide day‑to‑day operational oversight for assigned teams and compliance activities. Manage the compliance portfolio for key account operators, including onboarding for Part 121/125/135 operators and verification of manuals and regulatory documentation. Oversee weekly reservation reports and dashboards to support training schedules and timely operator assistance. Notify operators of instructor status changes and support training managers in identifying qualified replacements. Communicate updates to training program templates and regulatory changes across the operator network and key accounts. Develop and maintain onboarding and training materials for Air Carrier Specialists. Serve as the primary subject matter expert (SME) for specialists, ensuring consistent interpretation of FAA regulations and supporting high‑priority compliance requests. Develop, document, and maintain team processes to support business continuity and consistent compliance delivery. Participate in and lead meetings related to compliance issues, regulatory updates, and process improvements. Support cross‑functional partners (Training, Quality, Safety) with compliance expertise and urgent regulatory requests. Maintain and track Instructor, Check Airman, and TCE records, including support for required 24‑month operator audits. Utilize computerized record‑keeping systems to compile data and prepare compliance and audit reports. Promote a strong compliance culture through timely communication and dissemination of FAA updates. Lead special projects and initiatives to improve departmental efficiency and regulatory adherence.
