AI Solutions & Enablement Specialist

Niron Magnetics, Inc.Minneapolis, MN
$100,000 - $140,000

About The Position

We are looking for a technically curious, people-oriented AI professional to help our organization move from AI awareness to AI fluency — and from AI fluency to measurable business impact. This is a hands-on role that sits at the intersection of technology and people, equally comfortable configuring an AI workflow in the morning and running an enablement session in the afternoon. You will work across the organization to identify high-value opportunities for AI, implement and integrate tools and workflows, support adoption, and help establish the governance guardrails that keep our use of AI secure, compliant, and scalable. This role will have a direct influence on how AI shapes the future of our organization.

Requirements

  • 1–2 years of hands-on experience working with AI tools in a professional setting, including practical experience with large language models (ChatGPT, Claude, Copilot, Gemini, or similar)
  • Demonstrated ability to design and engineer effective prompts for business use cases, including multi-step and system prompt design
  • Experience integrating AI tools with business applications via APIs, Power Automate, Zapier, or similar platforms
  • Comfort with light scripting or development (Python preferred) to support workflow automation and AI integrations
  • Strong communication and facilitation skills — able to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical audiences
  • Organized, self-directed, and able to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously
  • Genuine curiosity about AI and a drive to stay current as the landscape rapidly evolves

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Microsoft Azure AI services and Azure OpenAI, specifically integrating them with 3rd party LLM’s such as ChatGPT and Claude
  • Experience with retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) architectures or vector database concepts
  • Exposure to AI governance, data privacy, or compliance frameworks (NIST, CMMC, or similar)
  • Background in or exposure to manufacturing, deep tech, engineering, or R&D environments
  • Experience building or deploying AI agents using tools such as LangChain, Copilot Studio, or similar frameworks
  • Microsoft certifications (Azure AI Fundamentals, Copilot, or similar) are a plus but not required

Responsibilities

  • Design, configure, and deploy AI-powered workflows and automation solutions that reduce manual effort and improve operational efficiency across business functions
  • Build and maintain prompt libraries, agent templates, and reusable AI components that teams can leverage across the organization
  • Integrate AI tools with existing enterprise systems (M365, SharePoint, D365 ERP, and other internal platforms) using APIs, low-code/no-code tools, and light scripting
  • Evaluate, pilot, and recommend AI tools and platforms based on organizational needs, security requirements, and ROI potential
  • Support the development of agentic AI solutions in collaboration with engineering leadership
  • Design and deliver practical, role-specific AI training sessions such as workshops, lunch & learns, and weekly open office sessions for employees at varying skill levels — from beginners to power users
  • Serve as an internal AI resource and go-to expert, providing hands-on support to staff as they integrate AI into their daily workflows
  • Develop and maintain internal AI learning resources including guides, how-to’s, recorded sessions, and a curated prompt and template library
  • Identify and cultivate internal AI champions across departments to sustain adoption and momentum
  • Research, assess, and recommend AI tools and platforms aligned with organizational goals and security standards
  • Maintain awareness of the rapidly evolving AI landscape and proactively surface relevant innovations and use cases to leadership
  • Support vendor engagement, proof-of-concept testing, and implementation scoping for new AI solutions
  • Assist in integrating and maintaining the organization's AI usage policy, including acceptable use guidelines, data handling standards, and human oversight requirements
  • Support the organization's AI risk register and contribute to compliance alignment efforts (including NIST frameworks and applicable regulatory requirements)
  • Help ensure AI tools and workflows adhere to data classification, DLP, and information security policies
  • Identify and flag potential risks associated with AI tool usage, including shadow AI activity, IP exposure, and data privacy concerns

Benefits

  • Salary: $100,000 - $140,000 annually, depending on education, experience and skills
  • Equity position in Niron via stock option grant
  • Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance
  • Mental healthcare benefits
  • 401k plan with 6% company match
  • Paid time off to take time for what you need in life
  • Experience in a fun, high-performing, manufacturing environment set to change the world
