About The Position
Our client, a global technology leader operating across international markets, is expanding its advanced R&D activities and is looking for an AI Researcher to bridge Artificial Intelligence with semiconductor design and materials science. This role begins with a 12-month residency in Shenzhen, one of the world’s leading technology hubs, working on high-impact AI applications in hardware innovation.
Requirements
- MSc or PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Physics, Materials Science, or related field
- Strong background in Machine Learning (Deep Learning, Generative Models, RL, Physics-Informed ML)
- Experience in semiconductor design (EDA) or materials simulation
- Proficiency in Python (PyTorch or TensorFlow)
- Willingness to relocate to China for 12 months

Responsibilities
- Develop AI-driven solutions for circuit design automation (EDA, layout, verification)
- Apply Deep Learning and generative models to material simulation and discovery
