About The Position

We are seeking a Project Manager with deep expertise in data‑engineering platforms, software development life cycle and experience integrating AI/ML models and developing ontology‑based data structures. The role leads a high‑visibility, cross‑functional data‑analytics and AI project, ensuring on‑time delivery, proactive risk management, and clear communication with senior leadership.

Requirements

• Experience in project ownership / project‑management on data‑centric, software or AI projects
• Previous experience in Data engineering, software engineering or AI engineering
• Proven ability to manage multiple development teams simultaneously.
• Proficient with JIRA, Confluence, or similar tools.
• Strong schedule‑management and critical‑path tracking.
• Proven project management skills
• Clear, concise written and verbal reporting to senior leadership.
• Stakeholder‑management across technical and business domains.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Data Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).

Responsibilities

• Project Vision & Roadmap – Define and own the roadmap for data‑analytics, AI model integration, and ontology development that supports business intelligence and advanced analytics.
• Cross‑Functional Leadership – Manage Agile teams (data engineers, AI/ML engineers, software engineers, DBA, etc.) to deliver end‑to-end solutions on schedule.
• AI Model Integration – Oversee the ingestion, versioning, deployment, and monitoring of AI/ML models (e.g., predictive scoring, NLP) within the data platform using NiFi, SAP HANA, or cloud‑based model serving frameworks.
• Ontology Development – Guide the creation and maintenance of domain ontologies (taxonomy, semantic relationships) to enable semantic querying and data federation.
• Risk & Issue Management – Identify, assess, and mitigate technical and schedule risks; maintain a risk register and communicate mitigation plans.
• Leadership Reporting – Provide regular status, risk, and opportunity updates to steering committees, PMO, and executive sponsors through dashboards, executive summaries, and presentations.
• Continuous Improvement – Refine processes, tooling, and delivery efficiency; champion automation and best practices for AI/ML lifecycle management.
• Data‑Governance & Compliance – Ensure all solutions meet data‑governance, security, and regulatory standards
