Overview This role leads the engineering design and scale‑out of AI‑enabled developer workflows with embedded safety, security, and quality controls. It is accountable for end‑to‑end AI engineering safety outcomes, including Chief Information Security Officers (CISO) engagement, definition of bank‑wide safety and agentic coding standards, and the security analysis and mitigations that govern tool introduction at scale. The role owns critical‑path security assessments and embeds governance and control requirements directly into delivery workflows and operating processes. It establishes continuous compliance, audit‑ready evidence, clear accountability, and strong observability through logging, metrics, dashboards, escalation paths, and incident playbooks. The role partners with senior stakeholders to balance innovation with stability, translating engineering and business needs into scalable solutions while tracking impact through data‑driven KPIs across delivery speed, quality, risk, and developer experience.
