Overview This role is responsible for the delivery and scaled adoption of AI‑enabled software engineering capabilities across multiple teams, ensuring solutions are production‑grade and meet security, safety, reliability, and governance expectations. The role translates engineering and business needs into scalable solutions that operate effectively within enterprise constraints, including security, compliance, risk, and cost. It establishes measurement and continuous improvement practices using telemetry across delivery speed, quality, reliability, risk signals, and developer experience. The role builds lightweight operating mechanisms to keep work transparent, including roadmaps, decision logs, and clear adoption thresholds. It also defines exit criteria and deprecation plans to ensure sustainable, well‑governed delivery over time.

Requirements

  • Strong engineering background with the ability to engage hands-on when needed (architecture, code reviews, prototypes, production readiness)
  • Proven experience leading delivery of complex engineering initiatives from prototype to scaled adoption across multiple teams or domains
  • Demonstrated ability to drive adoption and standardization at scale without heavy central dependency (self-service first, clear guardrails)
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills across engineering leadership and control partners
  • Experience operating within enterprise constraints, including security, compliance, risk, governance, and audit expectations

Nice To Haves

  • Sound judgment balancing innovation with stability, safety, and quality using clear boundaries and measurable criteria
  • Track record of delivering measurable outcomes, backed by data and operational evidence
  • Strong interest in modern engineering and AI tools, with disciplined experimentation and continuous learning

Responsibilities

  • Lead design and build of AI-enabled developer workflows and platform capabilities, hands-on when needed (architecture, prototypes, code reviews, production readiness)
  • Own end-to-end delivery from prototype and controlled rollout through scale and steady-state operations
  • Drive consistent adoption and standardization of engineering practices (patterns, templates, reusable components, runbooks, reference implementations)
  • Ensure solutions are secure, safe, reliable, observable, and production-ready, with clear operational ownership and support paths
  • Embed governance and control requirements into delivery workflows so compliance is designed in rather than retrofitted
  • Build lightweight operating mechanisms that keep work transparent (roadmap, decision logs, adoption thresholds, exit criteria, deprecation plans)
  • Partner with senior stakeholders to align priorities, sequencing, and outcomes across engineering, architecture, security, risk, and control functions
  • Translate engineering and business needs into scalable solutions that work within enterprise constraints (security, compliance, risk, cost)
  • Establish measurement and continuous improvement using telemetry across delivery speed, quality, reliability, risk signals, and developer experience
