About The Position
Join a high-caliber team from Google and OpenAI to democratize software creation. You will build a state-of-the-art coding agent that transforms natural language into native mobile applications. This role is central to bridging the gap between human intent and software execution, requiring breakthrough advances in AI reasoning and code generation. Vibecode is a Seed-stage AI startup backed by 776 and Neo. This role offers significant ownership with up to 2% equity and the opportunity to build the future of software development by creating an AI agent that enables non-technical users to ship production-ready mobile apps. You will work alongside a founding team of engineers from Bluesky, Docker, and Nuro in a high-intensity, in-person environment in NYC.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience building and deploying scalable AI/ML agentic systems in a fast-paced production environment.
- Expert-level TypeScript skills with a track record of shipping real-world products at breakout startups or as a founder.
- Relentless builder DNA with a deep curiosity for developer tools and bridging the gap between AI reasoning and execution.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement sophisticated agentic architectures for an industry-leading TypeScript-based coding AI agent.
- Develop robust evaluation frameworks to measure and improve code quality and alignment with user intent.
- Scale the entire AI stack from model architecture to production deployment while maintaining a focus on magical user experiences.
