AMD is seeking an AI and Developer Digital Marketing Strategist to own and scale the end-to-end digital journey for developers across AMD.com and connected community platforms. This role sits at the intersection of digital strategy, user experience (UX), growth marketing, and developer engagement. You will define and optimize the holistic AI developer experience, from awareness and onboarding to activation, retention, and advocacy, ensuring a seamless, data-driven journey that dramatically accelerates the growth of AMD’s global developer community. You bring deep knowledge of the developer audience, an understanding of AI ecosystems, and a proven ability to design UX journeys that convert curiosity into contribution and advocacy. You are a strategic thinker and execution-oriented leader who understands how AI developers discover, evaluate, and adopt platforms and tools, particularly in AI and accelerated computing. You are fluent in digital metrics and experimentation frameworks and know how to translate insights into measurable growth. You are equally comfortable collaborating with product marketing, web, analytics, community, and engineering teams to create cohesive, high-impact experiences that inspire developers to build with AMD technologies.

Requirements

  • Experience in digital marketing and UX strategy with an emphasis on growth strategy or developer marketing
  • Proven success designing and optimizing digital journeys that drive measurable growth in user acquisition, activation, and retention.
  • Deep understanding of developer ecosystems, including AI/ML developers, data scientists, and open-source communities.
  • Experience with web analytics platforms, experimentation tools, CRM systems, and marketing automation.
  • Strong familiarity with developer tools, SDKs, APIs, GitHub ecosystems, and technical documentation environments.
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable strategy.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills in a highly matrixed environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working with AI frameworks and ecosystems (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow, ROCm, open-source AI tooling) is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Own the AI Developer Digital Journey: In tight collaboration with key stakeholders, define and lead the strategy for the end-to-end developer journey across AMD.com and connected platforms (developer portals, community forums, learning hubs, and AI ecosystem touchpoints).
  • Accelerate AI Developer Growth: Create targeted digital experiences and engagement strategies to attract, activate, and retain AI developers building on AMD hardware and software platforms.
  • UX Strategy & Optimization: Partner with web, design, and product teams to architect intuitive, high-converting UX flows that streamline onboarding, content discovery, tool downloads, and community participation.
  • Community Expansion: Develop digital activations that help to expand the size, engagement, and advocacy of AMD’s global developer community.
  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Define and track KPIs across the AI developer funnel including traffic, registration, activation, engagement, retention, tool adoption, and community contribution.
  • Experimentation & Growth: Lead A/B testing, personalization, and lifecycle marketing initiatives to continuously improve conversion and engagement rates.
  • Content & Value Proposition Alignment: Ensure messaging, content strategy, and calls-to-action resonate with AI developers, data scientists, ML engineers, and software developers.
  • Cross-Functional Leadership: Align efforts across corporate marketing, product marketing, digital marketing, software engineering, DevRel, analytics, and community teams to deliver a cohesive and measurable digital strategy.
  • Voice of the Developer: Advocate for the developer audience internally, bringing insights from research, analytics, and community feedback into digital roadmap decisions.
