Requirements
All candidates must have evidence of responsiveness to and understanding of the diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural, disability, gender identity, sexual orientation, and ethnic backgrounds of community college students, as these factors relate to the need for equity-minded practice within the classroom
Bachelor’s degree and two years of full-time equivalent, closely related professional experience; or An Associate’s degree and six years of full-time equivalent, closely related professional experience; or A valid California Community College Credential; or The equivalent education and/or experience (requires an equivalency).

Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and effectively with students and staff both orally and in writing
Demonstrated ability to work with computers, and other technologies, which are utilized in providing high-quality instruction and support to students
Conferred master’s degree in agricultural business
Demonstrated experience and ability to teach a variety of courses in agricultural business
Work experience in agricultural business
Demonstrated ability to involve students in leadership activities
Demonstrated ability to serve as co-curricular activity advisor for agricultural student organizations
Demonstrated ability and experience in recruitment of students
Demonstrated ability to work with advisory committees and interact with employers
Demonstrated ability to identify and assess student learning outcomes and incorporate them into program improvement
Commitment to professional growth and membership in professional organizations
Knowledge of the community college and its mission and goals
