About The Position

Under close supervision, processes paperwork and performs related activities ensuring ERIE's sub producers and customer service representative (CSR) Agents are appointed and have current licenses for the state(s) in which they operate and the product line(s) they sell. Duties and Responsibilities Enters data and processes paperwork for the appointments or renewals of ERIE subagents. Prepares resident and non-resident sub producers and CSR appointments and renewal of appointments and terminations in all states and maintains various agent records. Maintains current list of sub producers and CSRs in the Agent System of Record and related files. Updates Agent information with changes as required and distributes to appropriate company personnel. Updates the Agent System of Record and AGUP files. Handles the declaration suppression and mail to Policyholder requisites. Maintains Agency Contact Information in Multiple Systems Reviews weekly Errors and Omission (E and O) reports, and updates information on existing agency principals E and O status into Agent System of Record. Requests current copy of E and O from principal Agents. Reviews weekly non-renewal report and informs appropriate departments. Completes special projects as required. Works with LexisNexis and Agency to be fully sponsored Prepares and monitors executive management licensing and company appointments as well as agency, principal and sub agents Sets up new Agent and coordinates ongoing maintenance to principal data files and systems. Creates test scenario scripts for new systems. The first two duties listed are the functions identified as essential to the job. Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • One year of general clerical experience required.

Nice To Haves

  • Clerical experience in the Agency division preferred.
  • Knowledge of state laws relevant to sub producer and CSR licensing and termination preferred.
  • Knowledge of ERIE systems related to Agent licensing preferred.
