Learn more about us at utahfoodbank.org The Full Time Agency Relations Coordinator works directly with UFB partner agencies in training and compliance with Feeding America/UFB standards; Meet Feeding America site visit requirements; Ensure required data is obtained from partner agencies. Some travel is required, including limited overnight travel.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in business or social service field OR 1 to 3 years directly related experience
  • Able to work with diverse groups and individuals; able to work independently and a team member
  • Must be able to plan, direct and complete complex tasks
  • Strong organization skills and excellent communication skills, verbally and in writing
  • Good customer service skills; excellent leadership and conflict-resolution skills
  • Intermediate computer skills with database and spreadsheet programs
  • Able to relate to clients, agency staff, donors and the community at large in a manner to reflect positively on UFB
  • Valid driver’s license with clean driving record (MVR required prior to hire)
  • High positive energy level and high standards of professional ethics and conduct

Responsibilities

  • Visit partner agencies in accordance with current UFB frequency guidelines; answering questions, ensuring compliance to procedures and assisting with issues and problems.
  • Ensure all health and safety standards are followed and all partner agencies are in compliance with Feeding America and UFB health and sanitation requirements.
  • Ensure partner agency file compliance by performing ongoing agency file audits.
  • Provide excellent customer service to partner agencies including creating and adjusting agency orders for size/quantity, cultural and dietary preferences.
  • Work with partner agencies, inventory, warehouse and transportation to maximize efficiency in distributing product; Place additional product as needed.
  • Responsible to ensure all monthly food drive and service reports are accurately submitted by partner agencies (as applicable) in a timely manner.
  • Responsible for timely and accurate completion of agency relations statistical reports as assigned by Programs Manager/Director.
  • Provide excellent internal customer service and maintain a positive work atmosphere by acting and communicating professionally with customers, co-workers and managers.
  • Work with team members and Programs Manager/Director to ensure staff communication and action with partner agency issues that can be solved by UFB.
  • Onboard and provide training to new partner agencies; provide ongoing partner agency training as needed.
  • Back up programs department staff as requested, including mobile pantry and children’s programs.
  • Participate in conferences and community representation as assigned by the Programs Manager/Director.
  • Responsible to maintain current food safety training (State Issued Food Handler Permit and/or ServeSafe).
