Position Summary The Agency Producer directly contributes to and supports the sales goals of the agency or specialist department, working closely with leadership to achieve both short-term and long-term growth objectives. This includes generating new business, cross-selling, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining strong client relationships to ensure retention and profitability.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous customer service or sales experience (insurance preferred)
  • Must hold a valid insurance license (or ability to obtain one)
  • Strong PC proficiency and basic math skills
  • Excellent analytical, conflict resolution, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work structured schedules and adapt to flexible hours when needed

Responsibilities

  • Solicit and write new business for the personal lines division
  • Coordinate with agents and/or operations managers to assist in determining proper coverage
  • Provide underwriting and rating for new accounts
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of new products, initiatives, and industry trend
  • Actively solicit renewal and expiration dates from clients and prospects
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients
  • Meet production goals and performance targets set by management
  • Maintain accurate monthly sales records and submit reports as required
  • Perform additional duties as assigned
